Where has this been all my life?! Having used the Relvon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer, this is miles better – as well as expensive…
Whereas, the revlon primer did a good job of holding my makeup in place, its lasting power has nothing on the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer in Light. Not only does the Smashbox primer have a nicer, lighter consistency since it’s water based, it glides effortlessly into the skin leaving a nice matte finish. It keeps my makeup in place the whole day. This doesn’t feel like its clogging up my pores, like the revlon sometimes did. This primer would be perfect for someone who has oily skin all over. If you have combination skin, opt for the original version. Perhaps, the only downside to this primer is the price, at a whopping £25, it isn’t easy on the bank balance. But, since you only need a smidgen of this, it will last you a decent amount of time, even if you use this on a daily basis. Thanks to my lovely friend, Marta, for recommending this to me!
Tip 1: A little goes a long way, use half a pea size.
Tip 2: Do not rub the primer into your skin rigorously! Just smooth it over your skin using your fingers.
Do you use primer? If you do, what’s your favourite?
