Nothing new to show here, but one product – the Caudalie beauty elixir. Maybe by next month I’ll be raving about something new; this just goes to show how much I’ve been loving using these products I guess!
1. Ren Clearcalm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser 150ml £16.20 link
This is already my THIRD bottle of this stuff! I don’t think I’ve ever consecutively re-purchased a product so many times! A cleanser that contains no crap, its nothing but goodness for your skin. A good one to look into if you suffer from skin problems such as spots or acne as it is gentle yet effective at taking of makeup and cleansing your skin without stripping it of much needed moisture. It smells like you’re having a facial at the spa. And since its a clay cleanser it penetrates deep into the skin ridding it of impurities. A must have!
2. Caudalie Beauty Elixir 30ml £10.35 link
I’ve only been using this for a couple of weeks now, but definitely a step I’ve enjoyed incorporating into my daily skincare routine. I either spray this directly onto the face to cool and hydrate (as well as tone), or straight onto a cotton pad. As of now I cannot say for certain whether this has had any skincare benefits as of yet, but it hasn’t broken me out. This is either a love or hate product, and I think that comes down to mainly the smell. It has a strong herbal scent that may be offensive to some. I personally like it as I find it refreshing. Sniff before you buy?
3. Malin & Goetz Overnight Acne Treatment £16.50 link
(Mini review here) Another Holy Grail product without doubt.
4. Bioderma Hydrabio Serum – Moisturising Concentrate 40ml £11.67 link
(Mini review here).
5. Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray 125ml £20.50 link
(Review here) Simple as, beach hair in a bottle.
6. Benefit they’re Real mascara £19.50 link
(Review here) Worth the price tag!
7. Nuxe reve de miel lip balm £9.50 link
A ridiculous amount to pay for a lip balm (in my opinion), but well worth every penny. This has been my go to lip balm since I’ve purchased it, and I tend to be fickle, using whatever is to hand. I’m only halfway since buying it in November last year. It leaves a matte finish on the lips, is ultra hydrating, smells like chocolate orange. The list goes on. If you don’t mind spending essentially £10 on a lip balm, this one is the one to go for.
Film: Casino Royale – perhaps my favourite Bond film of all time. I love Eva Green as Vesper and Daniel Craig is undoubtedly my favourite bond. Coincidently, one of my all-time favourite youtube makeup gurus, Pixiwoo, did a tutorial on the makeup look Vesper wears when she’s wearing the purple dress in the casino. They also did a whole series of Bond girl makeup, so definitely one to check out. Link here.
Show: Britain’s Next Top Model – guilty pleasure! New series has started on Sky Living. The Inbetweeners – re-watched all 3 seasons in 2 days.
What were you’re June favourites?
